SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories Nintendo Switch game revealed its opening movie. The opening showcases many mini-games, activities, and places players can do with the Forgers, such as going to the beach, cooking dinner with Yor, and playing cards with Anya’s friends. It also features many well-known characters in the Spy x Family series, including Damian, Yuri, and Becky. Fans can also play as Yor and Loid in the game as they work on their respective jobs.
Fans in Japan can now purchase the game in four different editions: the regular box edition, the regular digital download edition, the Nintendo Switch Limited Edition -Outing Edition-, and the digital deluxe edition. By purchasing any of these editions, fans can receive a code to download an extra clothing set for the Forgers.
SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories also features DLCs with two more costume sets for the Forgers called the “Doki Doki Costume Pack” and the “Exciting Costume Pack.” Both of the DLC can be purchased separately for 円1,200JPY ($8.49USD) excluding tax or together as a Deluxe Outing Pack for 円2,000JPY ($14. 60USD) excluding tax. The Bond-themed clothing set is also included in the Deluxe Outing pack. To purchase the digital Japanese version of SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories and its downloadable content, a Japanese Nintendo eShop account is required.
SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories was first announced in September of this year during the Nintendo Direct event. It is based on the popular anime and manga series Spy x Family. Players will play as Anya Forger as they help her complete her new mission from school: creating a photo diary. They can dress Anya, Yor, Loid, and Bond up for their outings, explore new places, play mini-games, and create memories for her photo diary. The game has already been released in Japan, titled SPY x FAMILY: Operation Diary, on December 21 for the Nintendo Switch. It will be released on the PS4, PS5, and PC in 2024. The English version of the game will also be released for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC in 2024.
Spy x Family is a popular manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It began serialization in March 2019 by Shounen Jump+. The manga has inspired an anime adaptation and film produced by Wit Studio and Cloverworks. The anime adaptation’s first season debuted in April 2022 and aired in two courses; the second cour premiered in October 2022. The second season of the series aired on October 2023 of this year and ran for 12 episodes. The new film, Spy x Family: Code White recently premiered in Japan on December 21.
