Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story – Final Season revealed a key visual, ahead of the Spring 2022 anime season premiere. The series was previously delayed to Spring, due to production issues. Magia Record’s final season will be animated by studio SHAFT and is titled “Asaki Yume no Akatsuki” (Dawn of a Shallow Dream).
Magia Record is a spin-off series to the highly popular Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise, which originally started in 2011. Madoka Magica project also has three movies. The first two movies are recap versions of the first season, while the third is a sequel and offers a new ending. A new movie project is also in the works.
The first season of Magia Record came out in the Winter of 2020 and had 13 episodes. The s sequel followed in Summer 2021 and had 8 episodes. The story is based on a mobile game.

Few people know the truth: the world is safe thanks to the Magical Girls who are forced to slay Witches. Even though these girls are putting their lives on the line for a wish, rumors say they can be saved in Kamihama City. That’s where Iroha Tamaki is headed in search of answers. She can’t remember the wish she made to Kyubey, but a shadowy figure haunts her dreams.
