As you can see, The Promised Neverland Season 2 and Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2 are one of the most anticipated sequels, so it’s no surprise they took the top two spots. In fact, sequels have dominated 8 out of 10 spots in the top ten rankings. Specifically, the only new non-sequel adaptations that ranked high in the top ten are Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and Horimiya. Both of these titles will be available for the Funimation streaming this season.

In case you missed it, one of our writers recently wrote an article to share his opinion on the 10 Must Watch Anime of Winter 2021. In addition, Anime Corner also released a list for the Fall 2020 Anime of the Season rankings that can be seen here.
UPDATE: “Attack on Titan Season 4” and “Jujutsu Kaisen” were excluded from the list as their first episodes had already been aired in the Fall 2020 anime season. “Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou” wasn’t meant to be part of this poll either. Unfortunately, due to an error on our side, the option was not removed from the poll and is ranked 17th in the ranking above.
