In episode 9 of Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory Atena is back in the spotlight. What’s more, Sutea also made an appearance! Following the events of the previous episode, Atena was not able to come with Koushi to Kiriya’s home for the children’s Christmas party. Thus, it only focused on Kiriya’s fan service and thoughts about him. In this chapter, the Winter season is not over yet, so Frey and Mineru bought a Kotatsu table.

To begin with, all of the residents of “Goddess’ Dormitory” use the Kotatsu table immediately. However, for them to fit under the table, two of them need to sit side by side. Kiriya sits beside Koushi which makes Atena’s mood foul. Now, that all of them are now sitting around the Kotatsu, they play a footsie game, and it is the first fan service scene of this episode. Atena also wants to suggest that she and Koushi must study together while using the Kotatsu. Unfortunately, Koushi suddenly tells them that he wants to invite Sutea to study, which brings her spirit down.
This part is one of my favorites in this episode. Why? Because I got to see Atena saying “Koushi you jerk” while pouting. It is really cute for me. Another thing that I like here is that Atena is being showy about her true feelings. However, it is still not confirmed if she really has feelings for Koushi. Well, I also got to see Atena’s cute laughing face when they are still playing.
Koushi invites Sutea so they can study together. Then he tells Sutea that they will study while using a Kotatsu and it really annoys her because Koushi knows her skin condition. Still, when they were studying, Koushi suddenly fell asleep. There, he is unaware of the fact that his foot touches Sutea’s underwear. Of course, Sutea feels uncomfortable as she blushes because of the situation she’s in. This is the second fan service scene of the episode. However, Atena sees her embarrassing side so she immediately throws the table at Koushi, making him wake up.
Honestly speaking, I missed Sutea’s embarrassed face. I can’t remember when was the last time I saw her like this. I’m also laughing here because whenever she is making that face, it has always something to do with her underwear. Because of that, I decided to call her “The Underwear Fan Service Girl”. Also, in my opinion, another thing that makes her scenes good is the fact that she is a tsundere.
It’s that time of the season again when Koushi needs to clean the rooms of each resident of the “Goddes’ Dorm”. Here, Atena and Sutea lend him a hand. However, Koushi suddenly tells Sutea that she is really a big help and he doesn’t know what to do when she is not around, which makes him happy. Of course, Atena is annoyed after hearing it because she said beforehand that she will help Koushi in cleaning. Luckily, despite saying those things to Sutea, Koushi still thanks Atena for her help. Then, while cleaning, due to various circumstances, Mineru, Atena, and Serene become drunk, and Atena almost says what she really feels about Koushi. Unfortunately, she got knocked out before finishing her sentence.
This part is full of fan service because the three girls are all drunk. Having that in mind, my heart is also skipped a beat when I saw Atena being aggressive towards Koushi. She is also very daring in this scene. I can’t imagine Atena being like that in normal circumstances. Moreover, for the second time in this episode, she said that Koushi is a jerk, which makes me happy and I don’t know why. It’s just cute hearing that from Atena.
