On October 23, ONE OR EIGHT brought their high-energy music to Samsung Hall with “ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8–”, presented by SOZO. The concert took Manila by storm with their bold style, energetic performance, and growing international journey.
Made up of MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA, the eight-member group continues to make waves beyond Japan. Their identity is built around an energetic blend of pop, hip-hop, and performance-driven music, creating a style that feels fresh, confident, and full of attitude. The group’s motto, “BET ON YOURSELF,” reflects their message about chasing dreams and daring to stand out.

Just before taking the stage, ONE OR EIGHT sat down with the media to chat about their experiences on tour and their ambitions. Other than “365”, they shared that “TOKYO DRIFT” is the song that they feel strongly represents them right now because of its acceleration, speed, and velocity. They also lightly teased and wished for a future collaboration with Filipino boy groups SB19 and VXON. The band continued to talk about their ongoing world tour and the challenges they’ve faced since their debut, and that these experiences have given them the opportunity to grow as artists. It is because of the support from fans that they can build up the mental strength for a maximum performance.
With showtime approaching, the band closed their story with a special message to the Filipino fans: “This is our first time in Manila and our first performance [here]. We’re very excited about it since it’s the first time to be with our Filipino fans. Regarding our performances moving forward, what we can promise to our fans is that we want to be able to make sure that they will be happy and won’t regret coming to see ONE OR EIGHT. We are really very thankful for the fans coming [tonight] and want everyone to enjoy the show.”
Afterwards, the soundcheck sessions with the VVIP guests were held. Cameras were not allowed during the performance to ensure an immersive and unique experience for fans to enjoy.
The ONE OR EIGHT show kicked off with “YANKEE SQUAT.” The pace picked up as the group demonstrated their electric vibe and enthusiasm with more of their iconic songs. Blasts of energy filled the Samsung Hall as the crowd jumped and sang along to every performance. The group members also had some moments to connect with the audience, as well as solo performances that made the show quite a personal and memorable experience. The music was fire, the vocals never missed, the crowd hyped, and the group was, hands down, amazing. By the end of the hour, with hearts full of gratitude, ONE OR EIGHT took a bow before exiting the stage.
However, an extra highlight of the night took place as the Manila crowd cheered for an encore and the group returned on stage. ONE OR EIGHT treated Filipino fans with another “TOKYO DRIFT” and “YANKEE SQUAT,” constantly interacting with fans so much that it felt like a real party. It was a fitting conclusion to an otherwise fulfilling and exhilarating show.
All in all, the Manila showcase offered fans an opportunity to celebrate the group’s music and connect with the artists. Some things even went beyond the performance itself. There was exclusive merchandise, collectible photoclubs, and fan activities that transformed the concert into a memorable experience and more.
For 1DERZ, the group’s fanbase, the excitement surrounding a live concert goes beyond the songs; it’s about being present in the moment, sharing passion for music, cheering for favorite members, and being a part of a community that grows beyond borders. The ONE OR EIGHT show in Manila was truly an exciting night to remember.
ONE OR EIGHT is currently on their Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8- tour, with Singapore on October 21, Manila on October 22, and Bangkok on October 24. The band carries the message that no journey is taken alone, celebrating the trust, gratitude, and connection that have grown between ONE OR EIGHT and their supporters since their debut.
