9-nine- Ruler’s Crown Anime Reveals New Trailer, July 5 Premiere

9-nine- Ruler’s Crown anime revealed a new trailer, previewing the opening theme song and revealing a July 5 premiere date. The game’s developer is PALETTE, while it’s published by Sekai Project. Studio PRA is in charge of the animation. The second visual for the anime was released last month.

The opening song for the anime is titled “ResoNAnce” and performed by ARAKI. The ending song “Pale Blaze” by Chihiro Yonekura was featured in the first trailer. You can hear the opening below.

Koichi Ohata is directing the anime at PRA, with character designs by Saori Sakiguchi. The voice actors are reprising their roles from the novel and include Atsushi Abe, Misato Fukuen, Atsumi Tanezaki, Yuri Yamaoka, Akane Fujita, Kazutomi Yamamoto, Tomokazu Sugita, Satomi Arai, and Hana Takeda.

The visual novel was released in 2017, while the English release was first added to Steam two years later in 2019. There are 4 episodes available on Steam, which describes the first one:
9-nine- Episode 1 is the first volume in a series of supernatural mystery games, with Episode 1 telling a story centered around Miyako Kujo. The entries in the the 9-nine- series share the same setting and world, but each entry focuses on a different heroine. 9-nine- is a tale of the town of Shiromitsugawa, host to mysterious Artifacts and the superpowers they bestow on their Users. A tale of growing trust and budding romance between the protagonist and the heroine, and also a murder mystery where they hunt down the culprit behind a series of supernatural murders. Each game has an independent story that can be enjoyed on its own. We hope you enjoy the experience that is the 9-nine- series.
