Another anime season is behind us, as the summer of 2023 comes to an end, and as always it’s time to see who our favorite boy (or male character) was! For the first time in history, the Best Boy category of Anime Corner polls had more votes than the Best Girl one, which is not surprising when we look back on the season that featured so many shonen-oriented titles. I think we all know what is coming, so without any further ado let’s take a look at the results!
Satoru Gojo unsurprisingly took the first place – the stars aligned and both the Jujutsu Kaisen and manga had important arcs revolving around the white-haired character. In (close) second place was Bungo Stray Dogs‘ Dazai, followed by Rudy, who managed to score the third place. Ichigo ranked fourth and the wholesome Akira Tendo secured fifth place.
