League of Legends is one of the most popular games in history and they are trying to expand their universe even further. Ghostcrawler, Riot’s VP of IP and Entertainment, announced on his Twitter that they are making a League of Legends MMO. Moreover, he said that they want to hire more people from the MMO developing industry. As we all know, Riot Games likes to do animesque stuff from time to time! Be it anime-themed champion skins or even anime trailers with Hiroyuki Sawano’s music!
Here you can see Ghostcrawler’s tweet:
People didn’t really believe the fact that Riot is actualy producing an MMO game. That is until Ghostcrawler answered one question under his Tweet.
So with all that said, we are waiting for more information about the League of Legends MMO! What’s more, we are hoping for some anime stuff to be in the upcoming game. Knowing Riot, they surely will add some Japanese animation inspired things! They are trying to chip into every genre of game as of late. They made an FPS and a card game (Valorant and Legends of Runeterra) and they are planning to release much more. We can’t wait for all the stuff they will surprise us with!
