The “Edens Zero” anime, another work from the creator of “Fairy Tail” Hiro Mashima will premiere on April 10, 2021! The animation production will be handled by studio J.C. Staff and a trailer is yet to be released. The latest key visual for the anime:
We can see Gray, Lucy and Happy, but they are actually different characters. Well, Happy got to keep his name, but the other two are called Shiki and Rebecca. The similarity is obviously because of Hiro Mashima’s style, and it’s noticeable in his other work Rave Master as well.

At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
As a fan of Fairy Tail, I’ll surely watch the Edens Zero anime as well when it premieres in April 2021. J.C. Staff is also in charge of the Combatants Will Be Dispatched! anime which will air in April as well.
