Love Live Nijigasaki unveiled a key visual and trailer for their upcoming trilogy movie, titled Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club – Final Chapter, and a teaser video for the short anime Nijiyon Season 2 during Anime Japan 2024. Additionally, the cast mentioned during the stage event that the movie is set to take place in Okinawa.
Studio Sunrise is animating the movie with Tomoyuki Kawamura’s direction. Takumi Yokota is in charge of character designs while Naoki Endo composes the music. The series previously released a teaser visual and video for the movie.
Meanwhile, the Nijiyon short anime is directed by Yuya Horiuchi with Naoki Endo composing the music. The cast will reprise their roles for the movie and short anime:

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off project of Love Live! idol franchise. The first season began broadcasting in October 2020 while the second season aired in April 2022. An OVA premiered last year in June. Crunchyroll is streaming the first and second seasons of Love Live Nijigasaki School Idol Club anime and they describe it as:
Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara. Sometimes friends, sometimes rivals, the members of this club each contribute their own thoughts and motivations to the group.
