Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF has revealed the preview images for episode 11. It is titled “Forest of Wolves and Frigin Rain” and is slated to air on June 10. Studio Passione is animating the series and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

To succeed in smuggling gold, a secret scheme to pay off his debts, Lawrence enlists the help of Nora the shepherd. Accompanied by Liebert of the Remerio Trading Company, who has also become a collaborator, the group travels from Ruvinheigen to Lamtra. The shortest route, however, requires them to pass through a forest where a pack of wolves lurks. Following Nora’s lead, Lawrence and the others carefully continue on their way.
The Spice and Wolf anime series is based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name, written by Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Jyuu Ayakura. ASCII Media Works published it from 2006 to 2019, with a total of 22 volumes. A manga adaptation by Keito Koume ran from September 2007 to December 2017. A sequel novel titled Wolf and Parchment written by Hasekura and illustrated by Hidori is currently ongoing.
The ongoing anime adaptation is directed by Hijiri Sanpei (Citrus), and produced by studio Passione (Interspecies Reviewers), with Takeo Takahashi (Ishura) as General Director. Meanwhile, Koji Haneda (Bakuman) is designing characters, Tomoko Koyama (Beast Tamer) is doing color design, Ayako Tan (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) is editing, and Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss) is composing the music with Tomohiro Yoshida (Brave Witches) as Sound Director. The main cast members of the series are as follows:

Crunchyroll is currently streaming the Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF remake and describes the plot as follows:
Lawrence is a traveling merchant selling various goods from a horse-drawn cart. One day, he arrives at a village and meets a beautiful girl with the ears and tail of an animal! Her name is Holo the Wisewolf and she brings bountiful harvests. She wishes to return to her homeland, and Lawrence offers to take her. Now, the once-lonely merchant and the once-lonely wisewolf begin their journey north.
