The upcoming My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie will premiere in the US on October 11, as announced during today’s panel at Anime Expo 2024. Daiki Yamashita (Deku), Kenta Miyake (All Might), Mamoru Miyano (Giulio), and Meru Nukumi (Anna) attended the event during which the first 15 minutes of the movie were previewed. Last month, the movie revealed a new key visual, showcasing new characters who will be appearing in it. The plot is set in a destroyed hero society. Mamoru Miyano and Meru Nukumi are the new cast additions as Giulio Gandin and Anna Scervino, while Kenta Miyake (All Might) will voice Dark Might, a new villain.
Tensai Okamura is directing the movie, with Yosuke Kuroda on the script. Yoshihiko Umakoshi is credited for the main character designs, while Yuki Hayashi is the character designer for the movie. Composer Yuki Hayashi is in charge of the music.
My Hero Academia anime is based on a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi that has been serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The manga received an anime adaptation by studio BONES in 2016. Season 2 aired in 2017, followed by the third season in 2018. The fourth part of the anime series started airing in the fall of 2019 and ended in the winter of 2020. The fifth season aired in 2021, while the sixth and latest aired from October 2022 until March of last year.

My Hero Academia TV anime is currently in its seventh season. Kohei Horikoshi previously announced that he plans to end the manga this year. He stated he knows that not many will take him seriously because this is something he has said before, however, it seems like the manga has truly entered its very final chapters.
