The Party kara Tsuiho Sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyo ni Tsuki (The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party Is Actually the Strongest) anime is based on a light novel series by Kagekinoko with illustrations by Kakao Lanthanum. The Shosetsuka ni Naro website first published the novel in 2018 before Futabasha acquiring the title in 2019, and publishing it under its M Novels imprint. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Miwa Narumi began serialization on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website in 2020.
The series follows the story of Raust, a healer who was ousted from his party due to his leader not seeing potential in him. After this, Raust finds a cute martial artist to work together with to form a new party. He also revealed his secret: while he’s a fairly mediocre healer, he actually fights well in close combat.
