Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 anime revealed a new character visual, this time featuring Aishia ahead of the show’s October premiere. The anime previously revealed visuals for Celia Clare and Liselotte Cretia, along with short interviews of their voice actresses. Yuki Kuwahara voices Aishia, and you can see her visual below.
Just like with the previous two, Yuki Kuwahara was asked the same three questions:
- Q: Looking back at Aishia’s role in the first season, what kind of character do you think she is now? Could you share your thoughts on how your impression of Aishia has changed or remained consistent?
A: Initially, I thought of her as a mysterious girl with an enigmatic aura, but as I got to know her better, I realized she has a strong core, deep affection, and is incredibly powerful and reliable in battle. These different aspects made me want to express all of her sides when playing her, but I always hold back and focus on preserving what makes Aishia unique. This approach has remained unchanged since the first time I met her. - Q: The second season has been confirmed, and after recording for it, what are your honest impressions?
A: During the first season, due to infection control measures, it was difficult to record with a large group, so I didn’t get many opportunities to record together with Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who plays Haruto (Rio). However, in the second season, I was delighted to be able to record with him more often! After all, the character Aishia interacts most with is Haruto (Rio). Although it’s a continuation, being able to record with more people made it feel like a new story was beginning, and the recording sessions were filled with a sense of excitement! - Q: What are the highlights of Aishia in the second season?
A: I got the impression that there were more scenes where Aishia converses with people other than Haruto (Rio). Although she is a girl of few words and expressions, I felt that the kindness and thoughtfulness were packed into those few words. The lines and scenes where you can feel Aishia’s unique way of showing affection warmed my heart. On the other hand, there are also scenes where her laid-back nature makes you smile, so please look forward to those as well!
TMS Entertainment is returning to animate the sequel along with the main staff. It includes Osamu Yamasaki as the director and in charge of the series composition, Kyoko Yufu as the character designer and also chief animation director, and Yasuyuki Yamazaki in charge of the music.
