Season 2 of the As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World anime revealed a trailer, theme song information, and voice cast additions. The anime premieres on September 28. PassCode is performing the opening theme song “SKILLAWAKE” while Yuki Tanaka is in charge of the ending song, which is titled “Familiar.” Studio MOTHER is animating the sequel, with Takao Kato as the director.
Joining the cast are Shou Nogami as Leng Salemakia, Yuki Tanaka as Selena Bandol, and Kouji Yusa as Chacma Drees, all of whom are featured in the trailer alongside the show’s opening theme song.
The anime is based on the As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World (Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru: Jakushou Ryouchi wo Uketsuida node, Yuushuu na Jinzai wo Fuyashiteitara, Saikyou Ryouchi ni Natteta) light novel written by Miraijin A and illustrated by jimmy. The light novel has been serialized since 2020 under Kodansha’s K Lanove Books imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Natsumi Inoue is currently ongoing. Kodansha is publishing the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
After thirty-five years of perfectly ordinary life, a run-of-the-mill businessman suddenly drops dead…only to be reborn in another world! Now he must live as Ars Louvent, scion of a minor noble family and wielder of a fabulous skill: Appraisal, the power to perceive the strengths and abilities of others at a glance.

The second season was announced in June of this year.
