Wind Breaker Announces Game Adaptation for 2025 Release

WIND BREAKER is officially getting its first game adaptation, and they revealed a teaser visual and trailer. The game’s title is WIND BREAKER: Furyo-tachi no Eiyuutan (WIND BREAKER: Heroic Tale of the Delinquents). It will release in 2025, the same year as the 2nd season of the TV anime. Studio CloverWorks animated the first TV anime season and will also return for the sequel. The anime frequently ranked near the top of our weekly rankings, and it also took the 2nd place in our Spring 2024 Anime Awards. It was the Best New Anime, and it also won Best Action, Best Character Design, Best Soundtrack, and Best Voice Cast, The main staff included:

Satoru Nii writes and illustrates the WIND BREAKER manga, which is serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website. It has released 18 volumes as of August of this year. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.

The story follows Haruka Sakura, a boy who joins Furin High School in an attempt to fight his way to the top and be called the strongest. However, his new school has a group called Bofurin, which protects the town despite being labeled delinquents. Haruka now often gets confused, and he ends up making friends as he protects his friends and town together with his senior students.
