Wind Breaker Casts Hiroshi Kamiya as Chika Takiishi

WIND BREAKER Season 2 officially announced Hiroshi Kamiya as the voice of Chika Takiishi, the strongest fighter in the history of Furin. The anime finished airing today with Episode 12.

Hiroshi Kamiya is a well known voice actor, with many iconic roles. Some of them include Levi Ackerman in Attack on Titan, Ranpo Edogawa in Bungo Stray Dogs, Law Trafalgar in ONE PIECE, Yato in Noragami, among many more. Satoru Nii writes and illustrates the WIND BREAKER manga series, which has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since January 2021. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.

The story follows Haruka Sakura, a first-year student at Furin High School, a school notorious for being the place of delinquents who use brute strength to solve everything. However, he instead found Bofurin, a group which actually works to protect the town from actual bad guys. Now Haruka has to learn what it’s like to have people who genuinely care for him, which leads to him also growing a lot stronger along the way.
