My Happy Marriage Season 2 officially begins on January 6, 2024, and a new visual and trailer have been released. Studio Kinema Citrus is returning to animate, with Haruka Tomatsu joining the voice cast as Kaoruko Jinnochi. The new trailer features the opening song “A Happy Promise” by Riria, while Kashitaro Ito was announced as the ending song artist.
The first season of the anime aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2023, with Season 2 getting announced immediately after the finale. The Episode 13 OVA episode was released on Netflix on November 22 this year, with the story set between the two seasons.

Akumi Agitogi writes the My Happy Marriage light novel, which was initially published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Fujimi L Bunko later acquired the title in January 2019 and began publishing it with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka. There is also a manga adaptation by Rito Kohsaka. Yen Press licensed the novel in English, while Square Enix licensed the manga. The franchise got a live-action film adaptation in March 2023 as well.
The story follows Miyo Saimori, who lives with a stepmother that abuses her due to having no supernatural ability despite being from a famous family. As she is talentless, her family decides to sell her off to the cold Kiyoka Kudo, who is notorious for his cruelty. However, her life drastically changes after meeting her fiancé, and Miyo begins to awaken her abilities while also growing closer to Kiyoka.
