Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2 anime revealed the first trailer at the ongoing Jump Festa ’25 event. The anime will premiere in January 2026. Studio MAPPA is animating once again. Crunchyroll also confirmed that they will be streaming the anime.
Studio MAPPA also animated the first season of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, which ran for 13 episodes from April to July 2023. Kaori Makita directed, with Koji Hisaki as the character designer and Yoshiaki Dewa as the music composer. Akira Kindaichi did the series composition.

The main voice cast for the anime includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru

Yuji Kaku wrote and illustrated the Hell’s Paradise manga, which was serialized from 2018 to 2021 on the Shonen Jump+ platform. Viz Media licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. The anime revealed its last visual at last year’s Jump Festa.
The story follows Gabimaru, a shinobi who was known as the strongest in Iwagakure. He became a death row convict due to not wanting to continue the lifestyle, and then got sent to an island to find the Elixir of Life as a way to get acquitted and be reuntied with his wife. As he gets to the island and meets the other death row convicts, he quickly learns that the island is not normal and that surviving will be difficult, let alone finding the elixir.
