A remaster of the anime Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX has been announced for April 2025, titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX 20th Remaster. KENN, who played Judai Yuki in the anime, left the following comment:
“Thanks to the support of everyone, I’ve been able to continuously engage with the role of Judai Yuki for almost half my life. The more experience I gain, the more I realize the incredible talent of the staff and cast I worked with back then! Congratulations on the broadcast of the remastered version! Gatcha! That was a fun duel!!”
The original anime ran for 180 episodes from October to March 2008. Studio Gallop was in charge of the animation. The voice cast included:

- Masami Suzuki as Shou Marufuji
- Hiroshi Shimono as Tyranno Kenzan

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX is the second anime series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, following the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. It is set years after the events of the original series, with GX deciding to focus on a new cast of characters while retaining connections to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! universe.
