Kindergarten WARS manga is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, with the main voice cast and teaser illustration revealed. Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in SPY x FAMILY) will voice Rita, with Kentaro Kumagai voicing Doug. The author, You Chiba, commented:
Kindergarten WARS is finally getting an anime! I can finally say it, this makes me so happy! Thank you so much to everyone who supported the series!! There isn’t much information yet, but more will be revealed little by little. Please look forward to it～～～～～～～!!

The manga series is written and illustrated by You Chiba. It began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and website in September 2022. It has released 15 volumes as of August 2025. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English and they describe it as follows:
Rita is Convict 999, a former legendary assassin who now works at a kindergarten for the children of world leaders. Her job is to protect the schoolchildren from the clutches of would-be assassins sent after them! But even with her overwhelming strength, Rita has a weakness—she’s head-over-heels for good-looking men!
