Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey anime unveiled a new trailer on Monday. Additionally, the video reveals additional cast, staff, and an April 2025 premiere.
The opening theme song “Tabi Shiyo! don’t you?” by harmoe and the ending theme song “bookmarks” by Sizuk were also announced. The new trailer previews the opening song.
Satomi Sato has joined the cast as Fuyune Kojiya, while Yoko Hikasa will play the role of Riri Tenkubashi. The previously announced cast includes:
- Hika Tsukishiro as Chika Suzugamori
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Koyomi Hasunuma
- Sae Hiratsuka as Yui Unoki
Studio Makaria (Dropkick on My Devil!!: End of Century Edition) is animating the series with Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World) as the director. Yoshiko Nakamura is writing the series composition, Rere is the character designer, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa is the music composer.
The Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey anime is based on a manga written and illustrated by Kenta Ishizaka. It began serialization in March 2019 in the seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh. It currently has 11 volumes in circulation. The 12th volume is slated to release this December 27,
The manga follows the story of Chika Suzugamori, an aspiring manga artist, who constantly faces new rejections with each submission of her drafts. Frustrated and on the brink of giving up, she has a sudden epiphany: embarking on an adventurous journey that will also heal her mentally.
