I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 2 anime revealed a key visual and new voice cast, as well as a July 2025 release date. The sequel was announced immediately after the first season’s finale. Studio Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab will be animating again, with Jin Tamamura as the director.
The new voice cast includes:
- Manaka Iwami as Escher, a sister with a beautiful singing voice
- Minami Tsuda as Saria, Lloyd’s older sister who is deeply knowledgeable about music

New 7th Prince Season 2 Cast Comments
Manaka Iwami (Isha)
This series often has a lot of comical ad-libbing during the recording sessions, and I find myself inspired by the fun performances of my fellow cast members every time! The character Escher, whom I have the honor of portraying, is a nun who is an excellent singer, gentle, charming, and naturally a bit ditzy!
Even during the recording sessions, we worked with such beautifully rendered visuals, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together with the voices and music added! I hope everyone will enjoy the broadcast with me. Thank you for your support!
Minami Tsuda (Saria)
I’m Minami Tsuda, and I’ll be voicing Saria.
Saria is like a prodigy of music, having mastered every instrument… She’s a quiet character, but when it’s time to show off to Lloyd, she really gives it her all with a determined ‘Hmph!’ She’s Lloyd’s older sister who tries her best.
And that ‘Hmph!’ face is just so cute! 7th Prince has these moments of comical expressions that are truly adorable! Those soft, squishy cheeks… it makes you want to poke them (laughs).
In Season 2, please look forward to Lloyd and his friends, who continue to balance cute and cool, as well as the new characters who are joining the story!

It was also announced that the anime will have a special panel at AnimeJapan 2025, where the two new cast members will join Makoto Koichi (Lloyd). The main voice cast from the first season includes:

Kenkyo na Circle writes the I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability light novel series, which features illustrations by Meru. Kenkyo na Circle began the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in October 2019, while Kodansha acquired and began publishing it in print in July 2020. There is also a manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English, describing the story:
Prince Lloyd wasn’t always a prince…in fact, his previous life is one he remembers perfectly: he was a sorcerer, of sorts.
