Anos is officially coming back! The official Twitter account of The Misfit of Demon King Academy TV anime has released some hype today with season 2 news. They previously teased us with “Did you think that Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha was finished? You should wait a little longer“. Now there is an announcement trailer, as well as a new key visual featuring Anos. Check out the announcement PV:

Anos Voldigord was a tyrannical Demon King that eradicated humans, spirits, and even the gods. But he became bored of eternal warfare and reincarnated with dreams of a peaceful world. However, what awaited him in reincarnation after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being accustomed to peace, and all sorts of magic that deteriorated to the extreme. Anos enters Demon King Academy that gathers and educates those who are viewed as the reincarnation of the Demon King. But the academy could not see through his true powers and ends up branding him as a misfit! (Via Crunchyroll)
The Misfit of Demon King Academy was a surprisingly enjoyable OP MC anime last year, and season 2 is more than welcome. The first season had 13 episodes and finished airing in September 2020. Season 2 will have 2 cours, and SILVER LINK will be back to animate it.
