Tite Kubo commented on the announcement:

I think many fans were expecting it to air this year, and I’m sorry to say it will be next year instead.
Please wait just a little bit longer until then.
I believe we can make it something truly great.

Hikaru Murata (Director) also commented, also apologizing for the wait and saying they are working to exceed the expectations. “But if I were to sum up the final cour with one keyword, it would be this: “Bankai!”

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 -The Conflict- was the third part of the new anime. It premiered on October 5 last year, topping our weekly rankings 7/12 times. PIERROT FILMS, the new brand of Pierrot’s second studio, is animating.

The first part was voted Best Anime of Fall 2022, the second one ended up as a close runner-up behind Bungo Stray Dogs in Summer 2023, and the third one was again on top in Fall 2024. The anime is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

While the new adaptation has had a lot of original content, Tite Kubo said that Part 4 will have even more. The key staff for the anime includes Hikaru Murata as the director, Tomohisa Taguchi and Masaki Hiramatsu in charge of the series composition, Masashi Kudo as the character designer, and Shiro Sagisu as the music composer. Chief animation directors include Yukio Hasegawa, Sei Komatsubara, Masashi Kudo, and Kumiko Takayanagi.

BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls was also released March 21, 2025.
