The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 has released the creditless version of the second ending theme, “Hitorigoto” by Omoinotake. The second cour of the second season (Episode 13) premiered on April 4, a few hours after the release of the opening theme.
As shared on The Apothecary Diaries website, Omoinotake comments on how the ending is an important scene in the story. Without spoiling, they shared that they wanted to make a hopeful song that is suitable to the different feelings of every episode, like a “soliloquy” that will sound different as fans follow The Apothecary Diaries. “Hitorigoto” by Omoinotake is now available to stream on multiple platforms.
The Apothecary Diaries is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Toko Shino. The series was also adapted into a manga series by Nekokurage and another by Minoji Kurata. Meanwhile, TOHO Animation Studio and OML animated the first season of The Apothecary Diaries in 2023. The second season is currently ongoing on its second cour, which Crunchyroll describes:
