Action-Packed Ninja Kamui Returns for Season 2 and Season 3 As Production Is Already Underway

Adult Swim confirmed that Ninja Kamui will return for Season 2 and Season 3 at Annecy, with the former already in production. Japanese company Sola Entertainment produces the series. E&H Production was responsible for the series’ animation production; it’s unconfirmed whether E&H Production will return for Ninja Kamui Season 2 or 3. Update: The first visual and early tagline for Ninja Kamui Season 2 are below.

“The next season, Ninja Kamui Season Two: Red Vendetta, will follow Higan as he uncovers a new conspiracy of cataclysmic proportions. Ninja Kamui is produced for Adult Swim by SOLA ENTERTAINMENT.“

Sola Entertainment had actually confirmed a second season last June alongside the announcement of the NINJA KAMUI: SHINOBI ORIGINS game. However, this was quickly deleted with Adult Swim senior vice-president Jason DeMarco stating that no such decision had been made.

HBO Max streams Ninja Kamui in North America; the series was broadcast on Adult Swim, which described the series, “A former ninja clan member’s search for vengeance unites him with the FBI agents investigating the murder of his wife and son.” Sunghoo Park, best known for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, directed Ninja Kamui Season 1, and was joined by Yui Miura (assistant director), Takashi Okazaki (character design draft), Shigeru Murakoshi (series composition), Sayaka Koiso (character design), and Yann Rugaru (art director).
