The results for the most anticipated Summer 2025 anime ranking are in, with over 10,000 votes cast between June 6 and June 25, 2025. We previously wrote in detail about both the 16 upcoming sequels and some of the most promising new series, but now we also have the public opinion on which anime they’re looking forward to most.
DAN DA DAN Season 2 was voted as the most anticipated anime for the summer, taking 6.22% of the votes. This shows that the hype is still high following its Season 1 from Fall 2024, which ranked as the runner-up behind BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War. DAN DA DAN returns on July 3.
Behind it is The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, one of the most promising new shows which has CloverWorks handling the animation. The anime will premiere on July 5.
