Rooster Fighter anime revealed a new key visual and trailer, along with a Spring 2026 release date. The announcement was made at VIZ Media’s panel for the series at Anime Expo 2025.
Kenta Miyake leads the voice cast as the protagonist Keiji. The anime was announced in July 2024, and it was confirmed for Adult Swim streaming with more platforms to be announced at a later date. Studio Sanzigen is in charge of the animation, with Daisuke Suzuki as the director. Including the new additions, the voice cast includes:
- Kenta Miyake as Keiji
- Mariko Honda as Elizabeth
- Shiori Izawa as Piyoko
- Tomohiro Ono as Keisuke (NEW)
- Mitsuaki Kanuka as Morio (NEW)

Shu Sakuratani writes and illustrates the Rooster Fighter web manga, which originally started on Hero’s Inc.’s Comiplex back in December 2020. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
Keiji is more than just an ordinary rooster—he’s humanity’s greatest defender! His opponents may be ten stories tall, but nothing is bigger than his stout heart and his fearsome battle cry—Kokekokko!
