Written by Marko Jovanovic

Frontier Works has announced Heroic Songs: The Remix, a new simulation game that combines idol management with city-building. The game is being developed by Emma Create and will launch on Steam on September 15, 2025, with a Nintendo Switch release following on November 27, 2025.

In the game, players take on the role of a concertgoer who is unexpectedly transported to another world and teams up with Akari Sunohara, an aspiring idol, and a flower fairy named Moku-san. The player must then construct a hub for idol activities, referred to as a “Fanctuary,” to restore resonance in the world and find a way home as Akari’s manager.

Gameplay involves resource collection, urban development, and performance-based mini-games that contribute to idol growth and town expansion. The game will support multiple languages, including Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. It is single-player only and priced at ¥2,500 (tax included).

Character designs are by illustrator Lows, known for work featuring “kemomimi” (animal ear) characters. The voice cast includes:

  • Seika Hirose as Akari Sunohara
  • Yukimi Hayase as Ruri Tsukuyomi
  • Hitomi Sekine as Lynalelle Singulant
  • Yuka Amemiya as Haru
  • Risae Matsuda as Kaguya
  • Masato Kokubun as Moku-san
  • Kosuke Nakazawa as Kroschel
  • Asahi Fujino as D.D.
  • Saya Shirahase as Charlotte

Heroic Songs: The Remix is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
