Petals of Reincarnation anime adaptation revealed the first trailer and key visual, along with the main staff and 2026 release date. Studio BENTEN Film, which was recently acquired by an AI anime production company, will handle the animation. Shun Kudo is directing. As previously reported, the anime is HIDIVE’s co-production.
The main voice cast includes:
- Shoya Chiba as Toya Senji
- Wakana Maruoka as Haito Le Buffett
- Ayane Sakura asJohn V. Neumann

The Petals of Reincarnation (Rinkaneshon no Kaben) manga is written and drawn by Mikihisa Konishi. It began serialization in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine in July 2014, while it transferred to the publisher’s Comic Blade website in September of the same year. There are 21 published volumes, with over 3 million copies in circulation. Mangamo licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
Toya Senji is talentless. He”s tried everything but he can”t seem to excel at anything no matter how hard he tries. Then he meets Haito, a Kendo champion and… humanity”s protector? She uses the Stem of Reincarnation to draw on the abilities of her past lives, but it only works when she slits her own throat. And now she wants Toya to join her?!
