The previously announced Scum of the Brave unveiled a new teaser trailer, along with a January 2026 premiere and the main staff working on the series. Studio OLM is in charge of animating the series.
Shinji Ushiro is directing the anime series with Yoichi Kato writing and supervising the series scripts. Rika Murakami is doing the character designs, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. The other staff consists of:

The light novel series was written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Yuya Kusaka. It originally started as a web novel published on Kadokawa Corporation’s Kakuyomu website between February and March 2016.
Nakashima723 is illustrating the manga adaptation, which is being serialized on Leed Publishing’s Comic Border manga website since February 2022. Manga Planet is publishing it in English and describes the story as:
In an alternate 21st century, rich mafia members can turn into “Demon Kings” through increasingly popular ether-enhancement surgery, and the bounty hunters called “Braves” are the ones called upon to take them down. Yashiro only wants the simple pleasures in life – pizza, beer, and card games.
