The previously announced The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch anime revealed a new trailer and visual along with 12 additional cast members, the opening theme song, and an April 2026 premiere date. ASCA performs the opening theme song “Cusp” and is featured on the latest trailer.
The series stars Kaede Hondo as Spica Virgo and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Claude Sirius. Joining them are the following:

- Azusa Tachibana as Ewe Aries
- Haruka Shiraishi as Io Taurus
- Yuto Uemura as Castor Gemini
- Rena Hasegawa as Pollux Gemini

- Fairouz Ai as Leo Regulus
- Tomohiro Ono as Astraea Libra
- Miho Wataya as Hana Sasorijo
- Kazuki Ura as Chiron Sagittarius Aradia
- Miyuki Sakurai as Capella Capricorn
Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing the anime, with Midori Goto in charge of the series composition, and Takayuki Onoda illustrating the character designs. The manga series began serialization in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app in March 2022.
The introduction of the series is as follows:
