Ace of the Diamond Act II revealed the first trailer for Season 2, along with confirming an April 2026 release date and a new studio & staff. Taking over from Madhouse is studio OLM, which will be animating the upcoming installment with Hideaki Oba as the director. The full staff includes:

Ace of the Diamond is a Japanese baseball manga written and illustrated by Yuji Terajima. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonem Magazine from May 2006 to January 2015. The sequel titled Ace of the Diamond Act II started in August 2015 and ran until October 2022.
The series also received a TV anime adaptation by Madhouse x Production I.G which ran from October 2013 to March 2016 for a total of 126 episodes. An anime adaptation of Ace of Diamond Act II by Madhouse then aired from April 2019 to March 2020 for 52 episodes. The sequel was announced in May 2024.
