Iron Wok Jan TV Anime Reveals Teaser Trailer and Visual, Main Cast, 2026 Release

The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Iron Wok Jan has released its first teaser trailer and visual, confirming the main cast and core staff ahead of its 2026 release. The main voice cast includes:

  • Kikunosuke Toya as Jan Akiyama
  • Ikumi Hasegawa as Kiriko Gobancho
  • Kohei Amasaki as Takao Okonogi
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Narrator

Jan Akiyama is introduced as a fiercely competitive Chinese chef who arrives at Gobancho Hanten. The grandson of legendary chef Kaiichiro Akiyama, he was raised under strict culinary discipline and believes cooking is fundamentally about defeating opponents in battles.

Kiriko Gobancho, the restaurant’s heir, approaches cuisine differently. Already regarded as a top-tier chef, she believes food should be made for the customer, and her refined decorative knife techniques contrast sharply with Jan’s abrasive style. Their philosophies frequently collide. Takao Okonogi works as an apprentice at Gobancho Hanten. Though still inexperienced, he remains calm under pressure and quickly forms a bond with Jan despite his harsh personality.

Studio TROYCA is in charge of the animation, and you can see the main trio in action in the teaser trailer below.

The main staff includes:

  • Director: Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero, Aldnoah.Zero)
  • Series Composition: Makoto Uezu
  • Character Design / Chief Animation Director: Masako Matsumoto
  • Music: Tomoki Kikuya
  • Sound Director: Jin Aketagawa
  • Animation Studio: TROYCA

Additional staff include cuisine animation directors Atsushi Okuda and Chihiro Hanamura, art director Ken Naito, and CG director Mitsutaka Iguchi.
