Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 anime revealed the main trailer with theme songs, along with a new key visual and April 12 premiere. Sakurazaka46 performs the opening theme song “What’s KAZOKU,” while it was also announced that the ending theme song will be “Shalala” by Pilaf Seijin.

The first season of Mission: Yozakura Family ran for a total of 27 episodes. It was directed by Mirai Minato, who also handled the series composition. Mizuki Takahashi was the character designer, while Osamu Sasaki and Koji Fujimoto were in charge of the music. SILVER LINK was in charge of the animation. The main voice cast includes:

- Kaede Hondo as Mutsumi Yozakura
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Kyoichiro Yozakura
- Aoi Yuki as Shion Yozakura

Mission: Yozakura Family is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Hitsuji Gondaira. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2019 to 2025, running for a total of 258 chapters. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English.
The story follows Taiyo Asano, a high school introvert who ends up getting married to his childhood friend Mutsumi. Mutsumi who comes from the well known Yozakura (spy) family. As Taiyo learns to fight and protect what he cares about, the mystery behind his own’s family tragedy slowly gets untangled.
