The popular anime retailer store Animate will be opening a store in the Philippines, “Animate Manila,” in 2026. It will be located at One Ayala in Makati City and will offer a variety of anime to manga related merchandise. This will be the retailer’s third location in Southeast Asia following Thailand and Malaysia.
Animate is one of the largest retailers of anime, manga, light novel, and video games from Japan. It currently has 126 stores across Japan and 17 cities overseas, including Los Angeles, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, and more.
