BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai Part 2 revealed a new trailer, giving a look at the battles coming for Musashi Miyamoto when the series returns to Netflix on June 18. All twelve episodes of the anime will be released at once. The opening and ending theme song artists for the second half of the anime were also revealed, alongside the announcement of an official Anime Expo 2026 panel.
The new trailer picks up after the events of Part 1, teasing several of the franchise’s most anticipated matchups. Among the fights previewed are clashes against Pickle, Izo Motobe, Kaoru Hanayama, and ultimately Baki Hanma himself.
The second part’s opening theme will be “MUSASHI” by Japanese rock band Chevon, while the ending theme will be “KATANA” by J SOUL BROTHERS III. Chevon vocalist Mayu Yaginu said BAKI-DOU is their favorite arc in the entire series, praising the Musashi versus Motobe fight as one of the most human and emotionally impactful fights of all time. On the other hand, J SOUL BROTHERS III member Ryuji Imaichi said the ending song was built around the tension of drawing a katana before battle.

Experience the Showdown with the BAKI-DOU Team.” The event will take place on July 3 at 8:00 PM PT at the Los Angeles Convention Center and feature longtime Baki manga editor Yuki Yokoi and anime producer Takayoshi Aso.
The panel will also include live audience activities and a special showdown featuring internet personality Logan Chitwood as Yujiro Hanma and sword performer Kaz Kobayashi as Musashi Miyamoto. The anime previously revealed a key visual for Part 2.
