JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 4, Culling Game Arc Part 2, revealed the first anime teaser trailer featuring some of the upcoming fights. The announcement was made during MAPPA’s 15th anniversary presentation. The anime previously featured Nobara in a special anniversary visual project, alongside Reze from Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc and Mikasa from Attack on Titan.

It was also announced that Takeru Sato, who served as the assistant director in Season 3, will direct the new season. Shota Goshozono’s role is listed as chief director. Watch the new trailer:

MAPPA announced its 15th anniversary project earlier this month, with the plan to share new information on its upcoming projects. Founded in 2011, the studio has been in charge of animating numerous hit titles including Chainsaw ManJujutsu KaisenAttack on Titan Final SeasonHell’s ParadiseYuri on Ice, and Vinland Saga.

The presentation included new information related to Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro, as well as for numerous others. The production of Chainsaw Man International Assassins Arc and Dorohedoro Season 3 was previously confirmed. JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 4, titled the Culling Game Arc Part 2, was previously confirmed to be in production after Part 1 concluded.

The event also included segments dedicated to Jujutsu KaisenAttack on Titan Final SeasonOblivion Battery, and Ranma 1/2, with each one also having “new information” teased.


Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024. It was serialized for 6-and-a-half-years since March 2018, with the story getting concluded in 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 both released on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. Studio MAPPA previously animated both seasons of the TV anime and movie for the franchise, while Crunchyroll is streaming them.

The story follows Yuji Itadori, a boy with insane physical abilities who ends up joining a school for jujutsu sorcerers after an encounter with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo and Sukuna Ryomen. To delay getting executed for eating one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji takes on the task of finding and eating the remaining 19 fingers of the ‘strongest sorcerer in history’ in order to try and get rid of him. However, things don’t quite go as smoothly as they’d like.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo spin-off manga later began as a short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41, released on September 8, 2025. The second volume was published on March 4, with the third and final volume releasing in Japan on May 1. The series also released an animated trailer following its conclusion.
