The Bugle Call: Song of War is featured at the CyberAgent Group booth during Anime Expo 2026, taking place from July 2 until July 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. The anime was previously announced and confirmed for 2027 release.
The adaptation will be the debut production of CA Soa, CyberAgent Group’s newly established animation studio led by representative and anime producer Masakazu Ogawa. Shinya Watada directs the series, Michihiro Tsuchiya handles series composition, Michinori Chiba serves as character designer, Hiroshi Arisawa is the action animator, Kanetake Ebikawa is the concept designer, Takayuki Yanase is the prop designer, Hitomi Koto composes the music, Shirogumi is responsible for CG production, and CA Soa is producing the animation.
The CyberAgent Group booth (SH-320) will feature the nearly four-minute teaser trailer, a free professional photo shoot, and a limited postcard giveaway featuring the teaser visual while supplies last. Attendees will also be able participate in a venue-exclusive campaign by following the anime’s official X account and reposting a designated post to receive a bookmark featuring original manga artwork.
The anime is based on the manga by Sora Mozuku and Higoro Tomori, which has been serialized in Jump SQ. since 2022 and currently has 13 volumes published in Japan.
Shinya Watada (One Piece Film: Red action director, Aikatsu Stars!) is directing the adaptation, with Michihiro Tsuchiya handling series composition and Michinori Chiba serving as character designer. Music is composed by Hitomi Koto, while CG studio Shirogumi is producing the series’ CG animation and large-scale battle sequences.
