The anime ‘How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’ finally aired its episode 2. Here, we can see some developments between Souma and Liscia. Not only that, but in this episode, Souma just showed Liscia how smart he is.

The two of them are now talking to each other normally, unlike their first meeting. Liscia also helps Souma with his paperwork, even if it’s overnight. With that said, Souma can now cast magic that copies his consciousness into a certain material.
He is now using that magic to make another three pens move freely. As a result, they finished the paperwork earlier than its estimated deadline. Also, in that particular scene, Souma notices that Liscia looks pure while sleeping, making him touch her cheeks.
Being Closer to Each Other
When Liscia wakes up, Souma told her that he wants to be with her in the meantime. They then ride a horse because Souma said there’s something he wants to show her. Since it’s his first time riding a horse, Souma is holding onto Liscia’s waist very tight, which makes her conscious.
Souma and Liscia arrive at their destination, which is a cotton field. There, Souma explains to Liscia why it is the reason why the country is facing a food crisis. Liscia is very amazed by Souma’s knowledge, but at the same time, she is feeling down because she’s not aware of those things.
After explaining, Souma said that he is saying those things to Liscia, so that when she is already the queen, Liscia knows what to do. Of course, Souma thinks that one day, he will leave that parallel world. When Liscia hears that, she becomes sad, but she is touched at the same time.
Planning Moves for the Kingdom Together
When the two of them are now back in the castle, Souma continues to explain some reform-related things to Liscia. He is even doing it in the castle’s canteen, which surprises the eating soldiers there. In this part, Souma meets a new character named ‘Ludwin Arcs’, who is the captain of the Royal Guard.
Then, Souma finally reveals that the officials from the previous king are useless and he wants to recruit some reliable people. After hearing that, Liscia provides some information on how they are hiring their officials. Not only that but she also tells him how he can contact all the people from the whole country all at once.
Accompanied by Liscia, Souma go to the room where the people can hear and see them when they started talking. There, Souma announced that he is recruiting people to help him manage the country’s needs. Alongside him is Liscia, who seems to be impressed by his words, after he finished talking.
