Girls’ Frontline is a gacha game from Sunborn Network Technology. It first launched in mainland China in May 2016. Later on, English and Japanese versions of the game were released in 2018.
The plot follows a group of androids in the year 2060. The planet became uninhabitable after a military incident. But that isn’t all, as a new threat approaches, and disposable androids are known as T-dolls are the only thing that can only defeat it.
This isn’t the first Girls’ Frontline anime project. Short anime Girls’ Frontline Chibi Theater, by studio BigFireBird, first aired in 2019 and had 24 episodes, with another 13 episodes in season 2.
