The Duke of Death and His Maid Episode 7: Did They Finally Hold Hands?

Episode 7 of the rom-com series The Duke of Death and His Maid finally premiered, and it gave us a bunch of laughs before entering the new arc. A new key visual and promotional video was also revealed as we learn more about Bocchan and Alice’s past! Also, please be aware of spoiler-filled content.

In preparation for the upcoming arc, this week’s episode had lots of fun and laughs! Things might get serious starting this point so let’s take a breather and enjoy such unexpected events with Bocchan and Alice.

The Tsundere Pot

It first started when Alice brought home a magical pot made by a witch. And what made it magical is that it is actually a tsundere pot. A pot that uses affection to ignite and boil itself!

Alice tried making a love potion at first, which is actually a magical potion that might break Bocchan’s curse. Unfortunately, it didn’t work but at least we get to see a tsundere pot!

The Cursed Musical Piece

The next key that could break Bocchan’s curse is the musical piece that Alice found. What’s intriguing is that the musical piece is written on pitch-black paper which sure sounds like a piece of magical music.

This magical music piece was actually written by a musician right before he died. But who knew this musician can be pretty annoying as he unveiled himself as a ghost – a perverted ghost!

But Bocchan was able to concentrate with all his heart and let’s all agree that this musical piece was very heart-warming. A big round of applause for the series’ music composer for a job well done.

A Dream Where You Wouldn’t Want to Wake Up

For their last key to unbreaking Bocchan’s curse, Alice found a magical book that brought the two of them into another world. A magical little girl sent them into a dream inside the book to retrieve a white rabbit. And in exchange, she will grant them any kind of wish.

Being trapped in a dream might sound terrifying, but things changed for the better and in this dream, Alice can finally touch Bocchan. Unfortunately, since it was all a dream, it was impossible for the both of them to sense what they’re touching.

However, times like this can be very rare and one must spend it very wisely! With that, Alice and Bocchan decided to end such a wonderful dream with a kiss, neglecting their mission to retrieve the white rabbit.

We sure had lots of fun and laughs in this week’s episode, but keep in mind that things are starting to get more interesting with the release of a new key visual and promotional video. Take this time to relax and let the real magic begin!
