Season 3 of the Duke of Death and His Maid anime has been announced for 2024 following the release of the last episode of the second season. According to the official announcement, the third season will be the final one for the series and it will fully conclude the story. A special illustration by the manga author Koharu Inoue has been released to commemorate the announcement:
The first season of the anime aired from July to September 2021, while the second season premiered in July this year. Studio J.C. Staff animated both seasons, alongside Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment, who are in charge of CGI. Yoshinobu Yamakawa directed both seasons, with Hideki Shirane in charge of the series composition and Mitsuru Kuwabata as the character designer. The main cast includes:

- Ayumi Mano as Alice
- Houchuu Ootsuka as Rob
- Inori Minase as Viola
- Wakana Kuramochi as Cuff
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Zain
- Yuma Uchida as Walter
The story is based on Koharu Inoue’s The Duke of Death and His Maid manga, which officially ended in 2022. The manga was serialized on Sunday Web Every platform, with Shogakukan publishing the volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
When the duke was a young boy, a witch made it so that any living thing he touched died. Unable to cope with such a cursed child, his family sent him away to live in an old mansion. Now a young man, his only companions are an elderly butler and his childhood friend, a buxom, blonde maid named Alice. Despite the fact that touching the duke means instant death, Alice is constantly teasing him, getting close and flirting mercilessly. But even though Alice loves to make the duke blush, her affection for him is the real deal. Can the two figure out a way to break the witch’s spell?
