The official Twitter for the upcoming anime adaptation of “Komi Can’t Communicate” revealed two additional cast members. The anime is set to premiere on October 6, 2021. What’s more, studio OLM will take care of its production.

The anime casts Junya Enoki (Itadori Yuuji, Mukai Naoya) as Shosuke Komi and Maaya Uchida (Takanashi Rikka, Shidou Irina) as Hitomi Tadano. Moreover, we already know that Aoi Koga will be a part of the “Komi Can’t Communicate” cast together with Gakuto Kajiwara!
The chief director of the anime is Ayumu Watanabe. Also, Kazuki Kawagoe will serve as the show’s director. Deco Akao is the one who will be in charge of the anime’s script.
The anime is based on a manga series by Tomohito Oda. The manga’s serialization started in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in May 2016. As of now, the manga has 21 volumes.
