Season 2 of The Demon Girl Next Door anime adaptation introduced new characters and theme songs in a new trailer. The anime sequel will begin airing on April 7. The theme songs, which are sung by the cast, were previously announced and include:
- OP: “Tokimeki Rendezvous” by Konomi Kohara and Akari Kito
- ED: “Yoi Kagen Tetragon” by Konomi Kohara, Akari Kito, Minami Takahashi, Tomoyo Takayanagi
J.C.Staff is animating, with Hiroaki Sakurai, who is returning to direct the sequel to The Demon Girl Next Door anime. Mai Otsuka on character designs, while Keiichiro Ochi is once again overseeing series composition.
Ayasa Ito and Takashi Matsuyama previously joined the cast as Rico and Shirosawa Tencho respectively The main cast from the first season are also returning and include:
- Konomi Kohara as Yuko Yoshida
- Akari Kito as Momo Chioyda
- Minami Takahashi as Lilith
- Tomoyo Takayanagi as Mikan Hinatsuki
The series is based on a manga by Ito Izumo. Izumo’s manga started serialization in Manga Time Kirara Carat in 2014, while Seven Seas licensed it in English. The first season of the anime aired during the Summer 2019 anime season. It had 12 episodes. Sentai Filmworks licensed it and it is currently streaming on HiDIVE.
