The RWBY: Ice Queendom anime project revealed a trailer and the ending theme song by Saori Hayami titled “Awake”. Studio SHAFT is animating the series slated to premiere in 2022.
The main cast of RWBY: Ice Queendom includes Saori Hayami as Ruby Rose, Youko Hikasa as Weiss Schnee, Yuu Shimamura as Blake Belladonna, and Ami Koshimizu as Yang Xiao Long.
Toshimasa Suzuki (The Price of Smiles) is directing the series at Studio Shaft. Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) is in charge of the animation concept while huke (Black★Rock Shooter) is designing the characters. Tow Ubukata (Psycho-Pass) is supervising the script. A visual was revealed earlier today:
Monty Oum’s web series RWBY first premiered in July 2013 at the official website of Rooster Teeth. The series had 8 seasons as of February 2021. Crunchyroll is also broadcasting all seasons of RWBY. The story follows four main protagonists: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long.

RWBY also received three different manga adaptations. The first adaptation was written and illustrated by Shirow Miwa and had only 1 volume. It was published in November 2015 at Shueisha’s monthly magazine Ultra Jump. Meanwhile, Home-sha’s manga adaptation titled RWBY: Official Manga Anthology includes the side stories that follow the show’s plot. The manga only has 4 volumes and Viz Media is publishing it in English. The final manga adaptation RWBY: The Official Manga was written and illustrated by Bunta Kinami. It began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2018. The manga concluded on June 25, 2020, with a total of 3 volumes.
The future-fantasy world of Remnant is filled with ravenous monsters, treacherous terrain, and more villains than you can shake a sniper-scythe at.
