The upcoming tv anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten has revealed a second teaser visual, which features the main characters of the story – Amane, Mahiru, Itsuki, and Chitose.
The series previously announced a teaser trailer and visual. Studio Project No. 9 (Higehiro) is animating the anime series with Kenichi Imaizumi (Kingdom Season 3) as the director. Keiichirou Oochi (Oregairu Season 3) is doing the series composition, Takayuki Noguchi (Higehiro) handling the character designs, and Moe Hyuga (Steins;Gate 0) on music. The main cast of the series includes:
- Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya
- Manaka Iwami as Mahiru Shiina
- Taku Yahiro as Itsuki Akazawa
- Haruka Shiraishi as Chitose Shirakawa
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime is adapted from the light novel series written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto. It was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website and in 2018 and received a printed light novel version in GA Bunko (SB Creative’s imprint) in 2019. Yen Press is licensing the English version of the series and they describe the plot as:
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school. Everything changes‚ however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
