The upcoming Prima Doll anime series has revealed a second trailer as well as a new visual. It is set to premiere on July 3 this year. The anime is an original work by visual novel studio Key and Bibury Animation Studios.
The anime was first announced during NBCUniversal’s stage at AnimeJapan 2022 in January this year. The first trailer was released in March this year with the opening theme “Tin Toy Melody“, performed by the cast. The main cast includes:
- Haizukura – Na-Ga
- Retzel – lack
- Gekka – Yui Hara
- Karasuba – fuzichoco
- Houkiboshi – En Morikura
Tensho is directing the Prima Doll anime, with Kai on character designs. Akane Yano is doing character designs. Touya Okano and Kai are the scriptwriters and will also oversee the series composition. Bibury Animation is animating the anime series.

Cafe Kuronekotei is a coffee shop located in a corner of the Imperial Capital’s 5th district. The girls who work there are autonomous mechanical dolls (automata), the peak of the modern technology. They were created as weapons to fight in the great war, but the war is now over. The peace greeted them and helped them get restored. Now they are dressed in shiny kimonos and looking for a new role, which involves singing happily. Would you like to spend some time with these girls?
