Key and Bibury Animation Announce Prima Doll Original Anime for 2022

Prima Doll original anime, from visual novel studio Key and Bibury Animation, is coming in 2022. A teaser trailer has been revealed, along with a visual, staff, and cast. According to the official announcement, the anime is a part of a mix-media project.

Visual Arts and Key are credited for the original idea, along with Key. It’s worth noting that Key is a brand under Visual Arts company. Tensho is directing the Prima Doll anime, with Kai on character designs. Akane Yano is doing character designs. Touya Okano and Kai are the scriptwriters and will also oversee the series composition. Bibury Animation is animating the series.

Tomori Kusunoki as Karasuba
Yuki Nakashina as Houkiboshi

Cafe Kuronekotei is a coffee shop located in a corner of the Imperial Capital’s 5th district.
The girls who work there are autonomous mechanical dolls (automata), the peak of the modern technology. They were created as weapons to fight in the great war, but the war is now over.
